Summer Mall Phase 1

As one of Zhuhai’s most significant urban development, Paring Onions collaborated with HK architects 10 Design to work on a congregated group of retail malls – each represented by its own branding and interior identity, creating different retail experiences for different target customers.

Mall 1 is the anchoring mall located in the prime position of the development. The concept is to create a sense of hierarchy of space, emphasizing natural daylight with careful placement of voids between levels. The central atrium features a number of ‘sky-pods’ perceived as floating elements, incorporating café space and performance stage for a more dramatic environment.
