Summer Mall Foodcourt

Staged on the top floor of the Summer shopping mall, the space enjoys the luxury of ample daylights provided by gigantic skylights. The design subdivides the foodcourt into various seating zones incorporating different seating typography. Raised platforms are positioned directly under the skylights to accentuate the connection with natural daylight. Circular booths and banquettes are scattered yet carefully placed between these platforms to provide a level of privacy for small group diners. The selection of a minimal finishes palette aims to provide a neutral background ready to be filled with the vibrancy and characters of each foodcourt tenancy. Its featured contoured ceiling creates a ripple effect that reflects the floor pattern and raised platforms.
