A new concept for a shopping center designed for the LVGEM Group. The design intent is
to put the focus back on the characters of the overall space, setting a friendly and personal
backdrop for this community driven shopping center.
The concept is to turn the public spaces into an ‘extension of everyone’s living room’, a
pleasant and cozy shopping space designed for families and local visitors. The shopping mall
provides a platform for the local community. Other facilities such as cinema complex, exhibition
hall, and a central atrium designed to cater performance stage or promotion stands.
The interiors feature a playful arrangement of floor finishes to identify various retail zones,
typical shopfronts are ‘framed’ by a series of white boxes, offset to exaggerate each shops’
different characters and branding identities, together with unique details in lighting design and
customized fixtures, the result is a boutique public space that stipulate an inviting and relaxing
shopping experience.
