Marketing suites for this high end residential development in Changchun, China, including
different types and sizes varied from 90 simplex to 165 duplex villas. 2 distinctive design
schemes were provided to express the individual characteristics of the interiors – a Chinese
calligraphy inspired scheme using predominantly black and white, mimicking the ink-works
and its relationship with the canvas. In contrast the other scheme is characterized by a series
of natural timber soft forms, emphasizing on the layering of each space and its relationship to
the external landscape.
