Golik Headquarter

The brief is to convert an existing 800sqm factory space into a working office for this major building steel manufacturer in Hong Kong. The concept is to utilize the company’s main line of products as functional design elements, creating a unique working space showcasing its capability at the same time. Industrial ‘I’beams are used as structural frameworks for managers’ offices, and expanded metals treated as decorative mesh panels that playfully add character to the space. The conference room features a 8 meter long white Carrera marble meeting table - a playful contrast to the robust concrete floor. Custom designed LED lights are used throughout the office for an effective and energy saving lighting solution.
